“Prison takes away strength and health, but nature and genuine solidarity heal even the deepest wounds of the soul.”
Story & Mission in the Association
Belarusian entrepreneur, former managing director of the "KRONA" event agency, founder of the Vypusknik.by platform, former political prisoner, and founder of the "Mroja" rehabilitation eco-estate.
Political Persecution & Conviction
Born in Gomel, Siarhei built an established event management company and engaged in sustainable farming. In October 2020, he was brutally assaulted by masked riot police in Minsk for recording their illegal actions on video.
On June 3, 2022, security officers raided his home and arrested him. In detention, he held a dry hunger strike. On March 3, 2023, he was sentenced under Articles 342 and 130 of the Criminal Code to 2 years and 6 months in a general regime penal colony.
He completed his full term in Penal Colony No. 3 ("Vitba"), was released on June 29, 2024, and relocated to Poland.
Public & Human Rights Activism After Release
Together with his partner Natalia Tiuliupava, Siarhei founded the "Mroja" (The Dream) eco-community in the forests of Podlasie near the Belarusian border.
The mission of Mroja is to serve as a peaceful sanctuary and refuge where former political prisoners and their families can stay free of charge for nature retreats, community solidarity, and psychological recovery. In alliance with APBEL, Siarhei coordinates social reintegration retreats.
