About the ASSOCIATION

The Association of Political Prisoners of Belarus was established in 2024 by former political prisoners who were forced to migrate to different countries.

The main goal of the Association is to support political prisoners and their families both in Belarus and abroad.

The “Helping Hand” campaign was launched on May 18, 2025, on the Day of Solidarity with Belarusian political prisoners at Cathedral Square in Vilnius and has continued ever since. Since then, the canvases with handprints of former political prisoners have taken part in several international exhibitions, and some of them have entered private collections through auctions.
If you would like to have such a symbolic sign of solidarity, you can order it on our website. If you would like to receive a canvas with the handprint of a specific former political prisoner, write to us and we will arrange it for you, with all proceeds going directly to that political prisoner.

Hello friends! We are a team of former political prisoners, we ask you to support a unique collection, which is very important for us and our comrades. With the money collected, we will purchase tools for repair, construction and cleaning. And we will give an opportunity to earn money to our boys and girls who are forced to migrate and are waiting for asylum. The Association's volunteers, based on the results of the collection, will post a report on the spending of funds on our website, and will also help former political prisoners find part-time jobs and support themselves with their work.
