During imprisonment, in a stressful situation, some people discover new sides of themselves and new abilities. Thus, Anatol Khinevich, spending hours, days, and weeks in a cell, began practicing drawing by transferring images from photographs onto paper. Over time, he developed his own style, so it can be said that his works are not merely drawn — they are created in a distinctive authorial hand.
Portraits of people drawn in Anatol’s style resemble graphic art, but are entirely handmade. People in the cell, watching the drawing process, nicknamed him the printer because of these strokes.
Size and framing are negotiable and can be discussed separately. The caricature will be created in black and white, using a black ballpoint pen, with no colors.
